Feedback & Requests
Tell us what's broken, what's missing, or what's great. We actually read every message.
Questions about feedback
Quick answers about how submissions, bug reports, and tool requests are handled.
Does CrispPDF actually read every feedback submission?
Yes. Every feedback, bug report, and tool request lands in a shared inbox that the team triages weekly. High-impact bugs are usually acknowledged within 48 hours.
Do I need an account to send feedback?
No. Feedback, bugs, and tool requests are open to everyone — no signup, no login. Leave an email only if you want a personal reply.
What's the difference between feedback, a bug report, and a tool request?
Feedback is general impressions or ratings. A bug report is something that's clearly broken — wrong output, a crash, or unexpected behaviour. A tool request is asking us to add a brand-new PDF capability that doesn't exist on CrispPDF yet.
How long does it take for a requested tool to get built?
Popular requests usually ship within 2–6 weeks. Niche or technically complex tools take longer. We prioritise requests that solve clear, recurring problems for many users.
Will my feedback be made public?
No. Submissions are private. We may quote anonymised feedback in our changelog or marketing, but we never publish your email or any identifying details without explicit permission.
Can I attach a file or screenshot to a bug report?
Not directly in the form (to keep submissions private and lightweight). If a screenshot is critical, mention it in the bug description and leave an email — we'll reply and you can send it back.
What information should I include in a bug report?
The tool you used, the steps you took, what you expected, what actually happened, and your browser + device if you have it. The more specific you are, the faster we can reproduce and fix the issue.
Why do I have to solve a captcha?
The captcha blocks spam and automated submissions so real feedback isn't drowned out. It runs locally on hCaptcha and we don't track you with it.
What if my feedback is critical or negative?
Send it. We'd rather hear what's broken than ship something users quietly hate. Negative, specific feedback is the fastest way to make CrispPDF better.
Can I follow up on a request I already sent?
Yes — re-submit with the same email and reference your earlier message. Or contact us via the Contact page if you want a direct thread.
